I installed the module in a website and compared it with the module as before.

I've noticed that the module uses the full size images, does not generate a thumbnail, as I attached that means the web 400kb weighs more and PageSpeed ​​low 90 to 73.

It would be interesting to reduce images to optimize performance

I just checked our DEMO and I am surprised. I don't know why the full URL's get used, instead of the thumb_url
Probably this has been missed or forgotten during the development period and nobody has reported it since then.

The solution is extremely easy, (indeed i am applying the same patch to module and make it permanently)

Open this PHP file:
/modules/mod_flexible_vm_pros_by_cats/core/vmcategoriesfullreader.php

find this Line (67th line):
replace it with this:

Finally, find this line (289th line):
and replace it with this:
And the Modern Slider will use thumbnails.(instead of full pictures)

The fact is that I have an empty field file_url_thumb, because I use the enable dynamic thumbnail resize, and that is not recorded in the database ... so this method does not work for me.

Don't you have your pictures resized in this folder?

/images/stories/virtuemart/product/resized/

You misunderstood the "Dynamic Thumbnail Resizing" concept in Virtuemart. Look what it says here:

The dynamic resizing is used to keep the aspect ratio. It is not literally resizing the picture all the time. Otherwise, it would be insane, your hosting server will overload almost everyday. Consider you have 1k visitors everyday and you have 100 product pictures. That means, your server needs to generate thumbnails "dynamically" 1000x100 = 100k. This just doesn't make any sense.

The product pictures you are generated and they stored in the /resized/ folder. Just like how the PHP files are cached and stored in the /cached/ folder. If you delete /resized/ folder, they will be re-generated. Virtuemart checks the thumb folder and see if the file is exist or not (once requested), If not exist, it will re-generate. IF it is exist, it will use the existing one.

This has absolutely nothing to do with enabling/disabling "Dynamic Thumbnail Resizing" option at all.
