Richerd	1. I am getting this error message on my website at vm.robotlab.com.my/index.php 2. Why is it that at the Latest, the products showed is featured when i have chosen the module Display as Latest Products. 3. Why is the Featured products and Best seller products not showing?

Richerd	Sorry i forgot to mention that I am using Joomla 3.62 and VirtueMart 3.0.18.

Hi,

As i am seeing the module returns a PHP error of "Notice: Undefined variable: filter_category"

To avoid this error message:

1- open this PHP file:
ROOT//modules/mod_vm_flexible_fancy_slider/mod_vm_flexible_fancy_slider.php

2- find this line:

if (!class_exists( 'VmConfig' )) require(JPATH_ROOT.DS.'administrator'.DS.'components'.DS.'com_virtuemart'.DS.'helpers'.DS.'config.php');

3- and replace it with this:

if (!class_exists( 'VmConfig' )) require(JPATH_ROOT.DS.'administrator'.DS.'components'.DS.'com_virtuemart'.DS.'helpers'.DS.'config.php');
$filter_category = FALSE;

this will remove the error message.

Make sure your VM store has at least one "featured product" and make sure you have selected "FilterCategory: NO" in the module's backend. If you don't have any "featured products" then it is normal if module won't show up any product. The same thing applies for "Best Seller", if you don't have any sold item in your VM (a new store) then nothing will be displayed as "Best Seller".
