Hi,
Yes, you are right. The PureMart comes with a CSS rules to style the shopping cart module. vmCartModule is the official ID for the shopping cart module. We can't change that, this is why the flexibleVMGlobal.css tries to style this module.
The best way is to open this CSS file:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/assets/css/flexibleVM2Global.css
and remove all CSS lines from:
/* Flexible Virtuemart Cart START*/
to
/* Flexible Virtuemart Cart END*/
Therefore, PureMart won't try to style the drop down shopping cart module.
2- I will take a look at it. This module has just been updated and revised, so it is normal it has some bugs. This is just one of them. Putting <div class="clearfix"> </div> (after the 4th products in the row) will fix the issue. I will take a look at it. And most like a new version will be released to fix this issue.
3- I can't say "YES" to this question:
Does your standalone cart solve the problem of some items not being added to the cart, when page hasn't fully loaded too?
Because even though the shopping cart modules are standalone, "still" the Virtuemart core file (vmprice.js) is responsible to add the products to cart by making the AJAX call. So unfortunately using a 3rd party shopping cart module has no positive or negative effect about it.
