How can I solve that?

Please get back to original state in all PHP file. I am seeing you have changed some PHP files which corrupt the AJAX updating.
You should better retrieve back to original states for all the PHP files you did change (or simply uninstall the module & plugin and reinstall them)

You can't change any DIV element or class name or add an extra DIV elements randomly in the PHP file. The AJAX updating will fail. You should be very cautious about making modification anywhere in the PHP files. Test it every time when you do any single change in the PHP file and see if the AJAX still working.

I then disabled the module and the online shop is back. Why does this message mean?

Can you please start everything from scratch?

First uninstall these (from Joomla Extension Manager /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=manage

- mod_flexible_cart (module)
- vm2_cart (plugin)

and re-install them again.
