Changing the colors don't work. 10 years 7 months ago #6052

It seems I cannot change the colors of the module. Only half the changes work.

Hi,
Maybe a CSS overriding is causing that problem. I need to see your website.
Your joomla is offline now. It asks me to "login"

Regards.

Sorry for this, please log in using:

User: DemoUser
Pass: qwerty123

Following the same link. Also, the extension gets cut off when it meets another module placement, seems like it goes under it instead of over it.

The "cut off" failure happens because of the "overflow:hidden" CSS rule of the module positions.

To fix the "cut off" issue,
open this CSS file:
www.quebec-bodybuilding.com/modules/mod_flexible_cart/media/theme2.css

and add these CSS rule (anywhere in this file)
.rt-block { position: static !important;}
#rt-content-top.rt-light { overflow: visible !important;}

The cut off issue will be gone.
You can use the CSS rules to change the colors.

I am seeing you have already made some color changes through module parameters. I would suggest you to disable all color changes and use the CSS to change the colors.

You can use the help of "FireBug" to play around with the colors.
Firebug is a free add-on program that works with the Firefox web browser. It is tremendously helpful when you are working with Joomla! websites OR actually in any websites. You can take a look at this page: flexiblewebdesign.com/forum-virtuemart-2-template-puremart-support/342-using-firebug-for-customization-or-troubleshooting
To learn more about "FireBug"

And the CSS file to make color changes is this:

Regards.
