The cart opens when a product is added. So actually i don't need the "facebox". Is there a way to disable that pop-up and go to checkout?

Open Virtuemart Backend, and disable "modal" feature for "add to cart".

Configuration > Checkout > Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'

UNCHECKED this option, so the page will be redirected to shopping cart when the product is added to cart.

is there the possibility that I disable the facebox AND not go to the shopping cart page?
So when I click the button "Add to Cart" I stay on the same page? (And the numer from the Drop down shopping cart is adding up of course...)

This has nothing to do with our module - it would be a core hack perhaps in

components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/vmprices.js around line 55 cartEffect

I tried that, but I'm not so good in "core hacking"... BUT with firebug I found another option.
I enabeld the facebox in vm and changed the facebox.css. I deleted everything but the headlines and now I can put things in the cart and the only thing is happening is that the number adds up :)

Be aware this fact!!

When you update your Virtuemart (any time in the future) your changes will be retrieved back to stock.
Because changing any file in those folders:

/components/com_virtuemart/
/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/

Will be retrieved to original settings once you perform the "Virtuemart Update" through the Virtuemart Backend.

Just keep this in your mind.....

By the way, i am glad you have found a solution by yourself that works best for you.
