Hi (again)

While testing I notest that at some point the cart looses it products
Try this with firefox or chrome (not tested with other browsers)

Go to
demo.multitec.gr/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=303&virtuemart_category_id=1

Add product to cart using the red button (minicart and cart show 1 product)

Then go to
demo.multitec.gr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=166

minicart and cart show 1 product)

Go to
demo.multitec.gr/index.php?option=com_content&view=featured&Itemid=92
minicart and cart show 0 product)

Go to cart
demo.multitec.gr/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart&Itemid=21

product shows 1

This happens most of the times. Or this happens when you add a second product.
Some other times it "remembers" old product even though I have removed them from the cart (either from dropdown or the cart itself) What is going wrong ?

Update: Seems this is happening while user is not logged in.

it must be related to cache (either the cache of Joomla or your hosting server's cache) or your browser's cache (temporary internet files) cant be sure.

Try this;

Disable our module from your website and publish the original "VM Shopping Cart Module", (the one that comes with the Virtuemart-AIO).

If you see the same behavior with the official shopping cart module, then it means something is wrong with your website or the cache settings. If the other way around, it means the problem is caused by our shopping cart module.

Try it and run the same test again with the same conditions (without logging in) for validation, then let me know.

Seems the problem remains the same even with the vm cart
What I notest is that this mainly happens if you move from a vm page to a non-vm page.
Can this be the case?

as the boss says - it must be a caching issue somewhere...
but if it is with the native VM cart as well then I'm afraid it doesn't really come within our remit..

You are most helpfull but unfortunalty I still have problems regarding this
I have opened a thread in vm forum

and everybody keeps saying about cache but even without cache the problem remains.
Bummer.
I know that's it's not your problem at this point but if you come up with any idea pls don't be shy :-)

Seems that the problem is solved.
Problem was caused (?) by the jtouch plugin.
So far everything seems to work ok
