hi, the site keeps on appearing system errors.
i have chosen "On checkout, ask for registration " no
"Only registered users can checkout " no
when i import a product in the cart and go to the cart it keeps showing this message.
on joomla 2.5.17 i have gone to Global Configuration->server->Error reporting "None"
i have read

is it the same issue and i have to apply the code given?
i want error messages to appear of corse e.g if user must press something, but only if there is a reason.
Or at least can i get rid of the iiiiiiiiiiiiiii marks which make the message unreadable?

Hi,

The error reporting HTML scheme by joomla is all the same.
But joomla template uses a different structure to show those notification/info/warning message.

BUT!! if you are talking about a PHP error message, then this is a different scenario.

Hi,

Yes, that is "Joomla System Message" and your joomla template is styling that element, but styling it very badly.

Normally we don't provide free support if the problem has nothing to do with our Virtuemar Template, but this one is easy. Open this CSS file:
/templates/rt_halcyon/css/typography.css

and enter this CSS rule:
So, the Info icon won't be repeated all the way from left to the right. There will be only 1 at the beginning.

ALSO!!
To the same CSS file (/templates/rt_halcyon/css/typography.css)
include this CSS rule:


This last CSS rule will solve lost of layout issues.
