I need a cart that is a bit more prominent and can't use the dropdown cart of puremart. I need a cart in the left column that show every product and the total value of the cart without having to use a dropdown. How can I disable the puremart cart and get the original vm cart back? Or... can I change the style of the dropdown cart?

Then, everytime a shopper buys a product the shopping cart opens and shopper has to click on the button "return to store". I would like to just keep in the shopping modus, without pop up messages or opening the shopping cart.

1- To disable the "drop down shopping" that comes with PureMart and get back to original VM - Shopping Cart module. Through FTP, find this folder:

ROOT//templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_cart/

and rename it to:

ROOT//templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_cart2/

You will get back to official VM - Shopping Cart module (which shows the products in the cart only, there is no drop down effect)

2- To disable modal popup, open your joomla backend and navigate to here:

VM Backend >> Configuration >> Checkout

in this page, look at the 1st option and disable it: Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'

The visitor will be directed to shopping cart once they click the "add to cart" button.
