HI,
if you notice, the quicklook opens as a new page, and it doesn't load the menu navigation on top, or modules in left.
Actually it is a Joomla thing. See the URL of quicklook.
www.websitedesigning.net.au/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=28&tmpl=component&flexiblelayout=quicklook&virtuemart_category_id=2&Itemid=195
If you remove the tmpl=component from the URL, it becomes this:
www.websitedesigning.net.au/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=28&flexiblelayout=quicklook&virtuemart_category_id=2&Itemid=195
Browse it as well, it loads everything from your joomla template. (menus on top, module positions, all joomla template CSS etc..
You can apply it to anything in the joomla, for example:
www.websitedesigning.net.au/index.php?option=com_users&view=registration
See the difference with this:
www.websitedesigning.net.au/index.php?option=com_users&view=registration&tmpl=component
I guess all your concern is; the links becomes bright BLUE in the quicklook popup,. And you want to change them, Right?
Because some how your joomla templates' CSS files don't get loaded when tmpl=component is applied to URL. As said, since it is a joomla thing, our VM Template has no influence with it.
But you can do this:
Take the any CSS rules you see in these CSS file:
www.websitedesigning.net.au/templates/yoo_sphere/css/style.css
COPY all of them.
And then open this CSS file:
www.websitedesigning.net.au/templates/yoo_sphere/html/com_virtuemart/assets/css/flexibleVM2Global.css
(it is loaded in the QUICKLOOK popup page)
Scroll to the bottom, and PASTE. Therefore, flexibleVM2Global.css will have the all the CSS rules that style.css has. Understand? Then links will be styled now in quicklook popup. (the colors will be turquoise and orange when hovered)
You can do the same thing for other CSS files as well. But don't copy all other CSS's to flexVM2Global.css, otherwise the file size will increase which also increases the page loading time (in the order of milliseconds though).
Cheers.
