Morning ,a while back I edited my css files to tweak colors sizes ect and i need to know if i can get back to" factory default " so to speak with out affecting my products ,can i recopy folders into my site to bring it back to r\original settings or have to re install the puremart template

in a nutshell i didn't follow proper change control and need to start over however i don't want to affect my current products and categories , can i reset to original ?, thanks in advance

HI,

Re-copying PureMart folder to here:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/

absolutely won't touch your existing VM product and VM categories, and it is enough to retrieve PureMart back to original stylization.

HI , sorry to be a pain but i want to do this right the first time , ive already screwed it up and don't want to again so i wanted to take a moment to ask

in your response I see copy pure mart folder to here /templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/

I just want to make sure I'm clear , i have 3 folders in the original unzipped files

com_virtuemart
mod_virtuemart_cart
mod_virtuemart_search

so if I'm reading your response correctly copy the entire com_virtuemart folder back over to this path or all 3 folders back into the website per the original instructions

Let me make myself clear.
Take 3 folders from the PureMart ZIP file.

com_virtuemart
mod_virtuemart_cart
mod_virtuemart_search

and upload them to here in your server:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/

So eventually (after uploading the PureMart) you will have these folders in your server:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_cart
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_search
