No matter what shipping method is selected, including Ground and 2nd Day Air, UPS always is set to the last choice of Next Day Air.

Removed Fashionmart from the template HTML folder and it works just fine.

If no shipment method is selected on the first page of the check-out and the "Check Out Now" button is pushed, then selecting any UPS method works on the following page.

but first I would switch off the account validation for the client - you will loose so many clients at that point as they get confused, can't find the email, validate in a different browser etctec

So I registered, validated and went back to the cart and

Guarantee Day Delivered in 2 Day(s)
was automatically selected with no link to change it..

Have you got Enable Automatic Selected Shipment? selected in the VM config?
