Hi I'm having some trouble with FashionMart and of course i believe there are some conflicts with my template which is also for VM2.
I absolutely love the functionality of FashionMart and i wanted it for my shop, but as you can see some things doesn't cooperate. Can you please help me fix them?

my demo site is here shop1.e-exelixi.gr/

My biggest problem is the checkout page and also some minor visual bugs that i see.
As i point out with pointers in some screen shots below i want these things to be working just like the FashionMart demo page that you have created nothing more nothing else.

The border here is very annoying.

Hi,

It is normal if you have problems by using Gk_esports and FashionMArt together. Some DIV elements, take 1 CSS rule from our VM FashionMart and takes another from gk_esport core CSS file. The result: Looks corrupted.

Because they have both trying to stylize the same Div element

(for instance: <span class="PricesalesPrice"> element gets the font-size from FashionMArt, but gets the font-color and line-height from Gk_esport core CSS file. The result; small text size, red text color and lots of unnecessary spaces top and below.)

Consider using 2 different joomla template for 1 joomla. Would it work? of course not. For this purpose, i would suggest you to stay away from the Joomla+Virtuemart templates. But instead use ordinary Joomla template that has no Virtuemart influence in it. Technically speaking these joomla template must NOT be: Virtuemart-Ready. Because by FashionMart you are making your joomla template Virtuemart-Ready already. GavickPro template company also has other Joomla templates that have no Virtuemart packages at all. Try them. You won't have these kind of CSS conflict problems.

Yes off course i understand that but as i said i choose this template because it has some features that i want to have.
For example the cart icon that is sliding with the page the, the great front page style that i really like and the general layout background menu etc... that i have spend time configuring and now i want them to be like that.
Isn't there a way to remove this css so that the default would be FashionMarts ?

Hello again.
Although most of my problems are solved i would like to do some little tuch ups.

2.PNG

First as you can see in the first screenshot the "Save" button is very unpleasant. Can this be restored to its default value like you did to rest of the site?
Also is there a possibility to get the "Update" and the "Delete" button closer so they wont be so far apart?

And last , my theme has a custom "This product added to your cart" message (as you can see in the screenshot) How will i be able to use this exact message toy your "Quick Look" functionality ?

Hi,

First of all i should let you know that; (you might be aware of this fact though).

Both our VM Template and your joomla Template does exactly the same thing: "Styling the Virtuemart"

IT is normal if you ended up with those CSS bugs. You should have used a not Virtuemart-Ready joomla template to make everything bugs free. But now it is kinda late, you already have done it and already spent time to fix those CSS bugs. If you provide me your FTP credentials to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I will fix those remaining issues. (While emailing to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. don't forget to include this forum post URL at the top of you message as reference. So i will get it.)

Cheers.
