I really love your templates and have bought a few, but really am hoping the support response time is better.

We are having two issues with the template:

1.Uncaught Reference Error: jQuery is not defined
it seems to be flexible.js.13 is the casue when I use the developer tools in the browser.

2. When on the product page, click the add to cart button the + and - buttons are not working

3. The custom text field to for people to add their name for the back of the jersey size not displaying.

4. You can't add anything to the cart, and you can't add your It also doesn't show anything in the cart once added, not even your shipping information can be added ????

First of all, really sorry for the delayed response. Support crew is on summer vacation thus it causes some delay on replying inquiries.

I am seeing 2 TypeError on your website:


and none of them is related to our template.

1- Try to eliminate the .chosen() plugin.

Navigate to Viirtumart Configuration >> Configuration >> [disable this option] "Use jQuery chosen for dropdowns in FE"

FYI: .chosen() is a cool plugin but it is very problematic. If you really want that plugin to work, then try to increase the jQuery version from jquery1.8 to jquery1.9 (from jQueryEasy Plugin)

2- Also open this JS file: midwestvikings.com/templates/midwest/javascript/md_stylechanger.js and make that file completely empty. That JS file includes very out-dated and non-sense rules, thus causes TypeError (that JS file is part of your joomla template). That JS file is to use to change the STYLE of your template from template, if you are not using this feature, then you can safely eliminate that file from being loaded.

After you clean up your website from jQuery/JavaScript conflicts, everything should start working just fine.

That worked for the buttons.

But now when I click the "ADD to Cart" button, I go to the page to enter my shipping information, and I'm not able to. There are no text boxes.


I'd really like to fix this, since I plan on buying another of your templates.

Can you please give me the updates. What remains problamatic on your website? I am seeing you have written some more replies but then deleted them..

TIP: When you create a topic in the support forum, don't post a reply to your own topic. Because once you do, your topic moves at top. But we provide support starting from the oldest unanswered topic. If you need to post something new to your own topic, instead of replying, edit your initial post and update it.
