We have a live site with your SportMart template. MegaMenu is working fine.
I just want to edit the MegaMenu but suddenly the MegaMenu button is gone.



When I manually enter the URL '/administrator/index.php?option=com_templates&view=style&layout=edit&id=12&t3action=megamenu&t3task=megamenu'. then I get in to the configuration page but it doesn't show any menu.



What is happening here?

woww, that's really interesting. Never seen a reported problem anything like this before.

Can you please try to remember what you have done recently? For instance, did you update any "plugin, modules or packages" (T3 related extensions) via Joomla Update Manager? If so; you shouldn't have. Because T3 Framework has been highly customized to create the framework for SportMart in the Joomla backend. Updating the T3 framework from its original source might cause everything collapse.

One more thing to check, do you have a HTML index page in the root of your joomla? (that has higher priority then index.php)?

for instance a file like:
yourdomain.com/index.html
yourdomain.com/default.html
yourdomain.com/index.shtml

FYI: Some people do it to create the "Coming soon" page as the opening page (instead of using joomla's offline feature), but putting an index.html file in the root breaks the MegaMenu functionality in the backend.

I only have the google verification html file and some error pages (like 404.shtml). I removed them temporary but this changed nothing.

I didn't update the T3 extensions. Current version is 2.5.1 (the original installation package comes also with this version). T3 or JoomlArt is not listed in update sites list so should not be updated automatically. Template version is 3.2.

Google Inspect showing a 403 error (something blocked by DirectAdmin) on the empty MegaMenu configuration page.
After turning off DirectAdmin the direct url '/administrator/index.php?option=com_templates&view=style&layout=edit&id=12&t3action=megamenu&t3task=megamenu' is showing the menu's !
But the button still not appear on the template style page (cache cleared).

I changed a lot of things after setting up the MegaMenu, so this would be diffucult to discover. But know for sure that I didn't change anything in the DirectAdmin settings, also didn't update it.

One major thing that happened is that we are moved to another server a month ago.

Are you seeing some kind of red JavaScript error message in the in the Chrome Console? Something like: TypeError: jQuery(...).ready(...) is not a function or similar? You might be having some sort of an jquery conflict problem which prevents megamenu to work.
