Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to have dropdown menu with nice image if I use category layout for the menu item? I have been looking through the lightmart demo guides and am still not sure if it is possible. Hope you can clarify. Thanks.

Create a menu item and choose "Virtuemart >> Category Layout". Then choose a picture for it (by following the tutorial above).

In our DEMO, we have used PLUS icon for category layout menu item.

To put the each item into different column, then read this tutorial:

Thanks for the quick response. I did refer to the tutorial. Using the tutorial as example, if I chose Earphones as Category Layout, I would not see the child items in the category. *Correct me if I am wrong* That was my issue. Please clarify. Thanks.

Sorry but i don't understand what exactly you are asking.

What did you mean by this:
what child items?

TIP: The "Joomla Menu Items" and the Virtuemart Category/Products, are not interacting each other. Nothing will show up in the menu manager automatically. You need generate individual menu items for each Virtuemart Category (or Virtuemart Product).
