I decided to try the updated version of vm to see if it works ok but I found out that there is an issue that I believe it has to do with jquery.
The problem lies on the main menu and the sidebar menus with accordion functionality. The issue is this: Every time you click on a menu item that is supposed to show a hidden div, the div appears instantly and then the container slides down over it. I don't know if you can provide a solution to this but nevertheless have a look at it because it makes the template look less pretty.

I checked it with firefox, chrome and IE9.

I will test it (After installing the fresh LightMart in my local machine, I will update the Virtuemart to VM2.0.24)
If the same problem happens on my screen as well. Then it means, a new version for LightMart is required.

(if a small patch would be enough to fix the issue, i will provide it to you in here, so you won't need to update the entire template)

Please disable this option:

Use jQuery chosen for dropdowns in FE

through Virtuemart Backend >> Configuration >> [Activate Css Styles & Javascripts] section

The problem will be gone. Looks like, with the update from VM2.0.22 to VM2.0.24, the chosen.js and chosen.css has been updated, and either of them is negatively effecting our menu items. I still don't know why though. I would need to deeply investigate it which would be waste of time. The easiest way is to disable the jQuery Chosen plugin, which is already an unnecessary plugin.

Yes, i have tested and confirmed the solution before providing it to you here.
Because the same problem happened on my local machine after updating as well. Disabling "Use jQuery chosen for dropdowns in FE" is fixing it.
