You should be aware that, "can't adding product to cart" issue is a known problem in Virtuemart (it is a problem of Virtuemart, not our templates) and it has nothing to do with Browser.
The page should be fully loaded before clicking the "add to cart" button. Because JSON and AJAX loading run when adding any product to cart, if the necessary core JS files are not fully loaded, it might be possible that the product can't be added to cart properly.
