I was wondering if you please could take a look at my 2 live VM sites (both using your VM themes) and see my problem..

1. The first one is www.eshop-iphone.gr. This one is Lightmart and you will see that all pages loading significantly slow. You can compare it with :

2. www.eidivaptisisgamou.gr . This one you will see that got FashionMart on it. I think you will find out that this one is a lot faster than the previous site (LightMart). Its like 1-2 seconds faster opening the pages.

Both sites are hosted on the same server. So, its not a server matter. I just was wondering if you could find out what is going on regarding the "slow-loading" problem on the LightMart site. Maybe you could see something i dont.. Or, maybe you could advise me to check something i dont see..

I don't see much difference between those 2 domains. They open almost the same speed. The surfing through sub-pages in those domains also look the same to me.

Furthermore, i did the speed test by using the
tools.pingdom.com







If you look at the speed results above, actually this domain: www.eshop-iphone.gr loads faster unlike what you have said
(because there are less requests - because of the compressed CSS and JS files)

But if you insist, there is one place i can take a look in one of the template library PHP file. I am sure it will speed up things little (but don't expect too much).

Thanks for the answer. For some weird reason when i use Amsterdam as the starting point, i get different results than the 1 from USA (server is hosted in germany..) :

It value the eshop-iphone.gr always around 66/100 and always lower the eidivaptisisgamou.gr (around 80/100 grade).

Okay i did the coding change. The result should give better result right now.
But all in all, your website has already been fast on my screen so i can't notice any difference right now. Expecting more than this doesn't make any sense though.

Pindom says, your website gets loaded in 5-6 seconds from New York server. (your website gets loaded in 3-4 seconds on my screen, but i am using 50mbps internet speed). If you wish any faster speed, depends on your audience, you should purchase local hosting. You will get faster loading only if the audience (visitors) and the hosting server is located in the same location (not even the same country, country is big. It must be same location…. state or city)

Don't look at the the Grade in Pingdom. The statistics you need to consider should be the seconds.
www.apple.com gets 80/100 grade. So what? eidivaptisisgamou.gr gets the same grade as www.apple.com? Apple uses one of the fastest cloud server in the world :) No way.... grade doesn't mean anything.

The most and real important thing is how many seconds it takes until your server responds. (which is the "wait" in the screenshot i attached in my previous post)

I can still feel the delay when navigating through the VM categories in eshop-iphone, always comparing to the other VM FashionMart site. (1-3seconds more).

you have more contents than www.eidivaptisisgamou.gr/

you have to consider the contents load as well. For instance you have Facebook Like box plugin here: www.eidivaptisisgamou.gr/
which also loads the FACEs. This will give you extra load, because it is an external sources, also you have product slider at the bottom of the page, this would give you extra load as well.

In this domain: www.eidivaptisisgamou.gr
you have almost nothing (in terms of JS and application), it has pretty simple layout.

Anyway, don't be that much picky. I can assure you, both of your websites are fast enough. Page surfing is speedy enough even though i am located very far away from your hosting server.
