No you can't. LightMart is a complete package (Joomla+Virtuemart Template bundle). The bundle can't be taken apart. There will be lots of bugs if you ever try to do it.

You would need
CleanMart: www.flexiblewebdesign.com/Virtuemart-Templates/Virtuemart-2-Template-CleanMart
or
PureMart: www.flexiblewebdesign.com/Virtuemart-Templates/Virtuemart-2-template-PureMart
for this purpose, which can be integrated to current joomla template and style only Virtuemart related pages.

Does PureMart compatible with Artisteer Joomla template?

PureMart is compatible with "all" joomla templates if the Joomla Template is plain.

What i meant by "plain" is; Joomla Template shouldn't be touching anything in the Virtuemart pages, technically it shouldn't be "Virtuemart-Ready".

Because you are going to make your plain joomla template as Virtuemart-Ready joomla template by installing PureMart or CleanMart.

(PureMart and CleanMart would still work with Virtuemart-ready joomla template, but there will be some CSS overriding, those CSS overridings should be eliminated.)
