I have a few small problems with your template.
I use Joomla 2.5.14 and VM 2.022
A picture of my desktop with one problem - it is the admin menu to edit the template-style (sorry it is in Bulgarian but I hope to orientate). Error in red reads: Copy failed and I can not make any settings to the template here - do not keeps me the changes!



All other templates can edit - just your not!

I solved my problem - made the command - sudo chown -R www-data /var/www/sanopets/

My next problem is :

1. I can not change the virtuemart category browse page to "no override " how is writen in TUTORIAL.docx. Is that problem?

2. I can not switch between Listview, Gridview and Multiview in front page.

First of all, the problem you were having (that you have solved by yourself) would have been fixed by giving a write permission to this file:

/templates/flexible_lightmart/config (this is a file without file extension)

OR try to use a different browser. Safari, IE or Chrome.
But since you have already fixed it, then no problem.

The 1st problem: No it is not a problem.
The 2nd problem: To change the "default" view option, open this plugin: "Flexible VM2 Template", in that plugin, the 1st parameter is to change the default view. I believe it has been selected "GridView" by default, you can change it to "ListView" or "MultiGridView" through the plugin parameters.

Hi,

Virtuemart Frontpage and Virtuemart Category page. They are different pages. They are controlled by different PHP files.
There is no "switch" button for Virtuemart Frontpage. But there are TABs (featured products, top ten products etc..) depends on what product group you have enabled through VM Configuration > Template. This is how LightMart was developed.

The Virtuemart Frontpage is also the same as yours.

I just notice one thing in your website, for search module on the top-right corner; use the "Joomla Search Module" instead of "VM - Search", so it will have the same design as you see in our demo. They will work the same though. Because after applying LightMart, Joomla Search Module becomes VM - Search Module with a better visual design.

Ohh, i see what you mean now.
Since you mentioned "Frontpage" i thought you are talking about the Virtuemart Frontpage. Because Frontpage is a specific page in the Virtuemart Component. Anyway..

Your problem is "switch" button doesn't work in the category browse page. I just noticed it in this URL:

The problem is because of the jQuery conflict issue.
Please check these parameters in your Virtuemart Backend:

VM Backend > Configuration > Checkout




VM Backend > Configuration > Template > (scroll the page little bit down and you will see this section below)



Please check these 2 settings. The Conflict issue will be gone and switchVIEW button will start working.

I made changes - but nothing different happened. I suspected that anything with JavaScript wrong in my site! Cart also did not work - "select shipping", do not open "Clikc here to read terms of service and check the box to accept them." and a bunch of similar problems. I changed the language of the site in English - if you have time to see it - sano-pets.com/index.php/home-shop.html

Hi,

The mog_loginregister module was causing the jquery conflict because of loading multiple jQuery Libraries. I fixed it. Now everything is fine, the "switch button" works just okay.

Case solved. Topic is closed for clearance.
