I have two problems with the template:

1-why in my cart appears the slider images and instead in your demo does not appears the slider? I tried both with your slider and both with a new one.

2-inside the page www.dimensionepesca.it/shop/cart the VM module - Flexible Fancy Product Slider (for Virtuemart 2.0) is blocked. the slider does not work. works on the homepage slider.

how can I solve this problem?

if you don't want it you need to make a menu (hidden or otherwise) and disallow or allow the module on that menu item..

we make a hidden menu to the home page and only publish the slider on there

1- slider is a module only published on the homepage but I also visualize in the shopping cart page. I visualize the same problem for the module VM module - Flexible Fancy Product Slider (for Virtuemart 2.0)

yes - am in discussion with the development team - it does seem there is a problem with the mod_flexible_3d_slider.php and vm pages

I have installed this module but is now disabled.

I would like to use your module if it works well.

2. you are still loading 2 jquery libraries - these things will NEVER work with multiple loadings

you have to find WHAT extension is loading it and disable OR use jqueryeasy if this works

for testing purposes disable completely the sliders ... then work backwards from there

Have you followed the installation instructions in the pdf (one-by-one method ?)

Can you install any extensions? Copy failed is normally a problem with file/folder permissions on your server.

2. It seems slider cannot be used with the VM pages (it is intended for the Homepage (as an article) but the dev team are checking this.
They will notify you.. but I see a post from the boss here: www.flexiblewebdesign.com/forum-joomla-virtuemart-template-darkmart-support/967-slideshow-issue-in-chrome

basically he is saying that the slider is not part of the template - it is optional and is just bundled with it.

So it may be that it is not compatible with your site/server - there are dozens of freebies on Joomla extensions to try..

but also the dev team might find something..

OK - the dev team say that there is a problem with the slider on the VM pages (as they never expected it to used on anything other than the homepage (article)

They are re-writing it and will announce when this is done..

Yes - they will annouce when a new version is released -
in the meantime for your dev and testing just disable the slider - or find another compatible one

It will be released when it is finished - as we have already mentioned - this slider is just a freebie bundled with the template - there are dozens of alternatives

okay. Waiting for your update. I would like to have the same homepage that is present in the demo. my homepage is set to view the articles in evidence. in this case was not chosen any products featured on the homepage in fact you do not see anyone.

I have eliminated the home page of virtuemart. Shopping is no longer displayed in the slider and the payment and shipping now working. now another problem arises. when I go on the cart page. displays a form that is assigned to menu items "canne" and "cerca".

I noticed that the url to view your cart, is positioned on the page "search"

in your demo can be seen only with the cart, and no other module.

Our home page is just an standard blank Joomla article

the menu to it is a hidden one marked as default..

(just imagine you had used quickstart - we would be finished 5 days ago... ;) )

the bit about the cart page - sorry - I really have no idea what you mean..

I tried to install via kickstart but with poor results. therefore better that way.
Now, I have eliminated the virtuemart homepage (the first page of virtuemart) that I created problems with the shopping cart page if you remember (the slider appeared in the cart page of the homepage).

you told me to delete the homepage virtuemart because it was in conflict with the cart page and the version of jquery. messages # 5874 point 2. remember?

Hi,

This happens because of the itemID parameters on the URLs (but since you enabled the SEF, you don't see this parameter visually).
If you disable the SEF URL function, this will make more sense to you.

Joomla gives an itemID to Virtuemart Component. And unless you use a menu item for a specific page, this itemID will be shared for ALL virtuemart related pages (VM Frontpage, Category pages, Product Details page, shopping cart page..)

And joomla usually gives this itemID to all VM related pages based on Virtuemart Frontpage menu item.

This is a joomla issue, actually it is not a issue at all, this is how joomla works.
If you don't have a organized menu item structure, it is quite possible that you will end up with weird issues like the one you are having.

This is why it is always good to use "Secret Menu" group in the "menu manager". So you will create a menu item called "Shop" in this menu manager, and make your Virtuemart have a menu item that doesn't linked to any other pages. Then through the module manager, you won't publish any module for that secret menu item "Shop", there fore you won't have a module on the left in the shopping cart page, or you won't have a weird breadcrumb on the shopping cart page.

But while you are doing this, always disable the SEF URL, so you will see the changes of itemID parameters in the URL.
