I just purchased lightmart, having purchased other templates in the past. Unfortunately it really wasn't clear that this is a standalone Joomla template, NOT a Virtuemart only template.

I already have a joomla template so don't wish to overwrite that, I only want the virtuemart layouts, like your previous templates did.

Is there any way of doing that?

Yes you are correct, LightMArt is a Joomla+Virtuemart Template, All in one. So if you already have a Joomla Template and willing to preserve it, then LightMart is not a product for you.

Have you checked out the PureMart which is our other template and it is what you are looking for. it is Virtuemart Template and only changes the Virtuemart layout. It can be integrated to any Joomla Template.

No it's okay, the reason why I purchased it is because it's responsive. PureMart isn't responsive, so it's of no use.

I might just have to try and merge LightMart with my own template. Should look pretty good in the end.

Sure, you can try. It might give you some headache but if you are familiar with CSS, then those are easy thing to handle.

Just don't forget to include this CSS file:

/templates/flexible_lightmart/css/virtuemart.css
and
/template/flexible_lightmart/css/responsive.css

to one of your joomla template's CSS file. Also don't forget to install the extra Modules/Plugins that come with LightMart Installation file (those can be found in "One-By One" folder)
