When I click on a manufacturer in left hand menu (Shop by Manufacturer) I am first brought to a page that asks me if I want to view all xxx-products. This middle step is so unnecessary and quite annoying. Isn't there a way to skip this extra step and go directly to f ex www.flexiblewebdesign.com/virtuemart-2-template-lightmart/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=10&Itemid=540

I have searched the Virtuemart forum for a solution, found one, and it seemed to work before the upgrade from LightMart 1.0 to 1.1.

It is the standard VM manf module... just redo the hacks as per the VM Forum post

Hi,

Try this:

Open this PHP file:
ROOT/modules/mod_virtuemart_manufacturer/tmpl/default.php

Look at the 48th line:
Replace it with this:
Then, this will skip the "manufacturer" page, and products from that manufacturer will be listed directly once any manufacturer link is clicked. (no need to click 2nd time to "show all XXX products")

Sorry, but have done that already, but it doesn't work after upgrade from LightMart 1.0 to 1.1 - I suspect, not sure...
