Hi a few questions pelase! :)
I've removed the twitter and facebook like buttons from my products but I still have a facebook like button showing in one of the lower bars, displayed on the image as A.
Also now I've removed the facebook and twitter likes from below the product I'm left with a box as shown in B, wondering how i can just thin this out to make it look a bit neater?
And finally C, can't find anywhere to remove or enable these tabs?

Unfortunately we don't provide support or guidance about custom modifications unless there is a problem occurs because of our extensions.

Have you ever tried using "Firebug"?
What you are asking can be handled very easily with that plugin. Because it lets you investigate the source codes, make some temporary CSS changes and see the results right away.

Firebug is the number 1 plugin for the web developer to investigate the source codes and make the CSS modifications. Such as, arranging the padding or margin values, contracting empty spaces, removing some elements or giving some breaks between elements all sort of visual modifications.

To remove the "Custom TAB 1" look at this plugin: "Flexible VM2 Template" in your joomla backend. In one of the parameters you will see the "Custom TAB 1" field, simply delete that field and the TAB will be gone.

To remove the "Review" TAB disable the "rating" from Virtuemart Backend Configuration

To remove the "Ask a question" again look at the "Flexible VM2 Template" plugin, there is a parameter to enable/disable that TAB.

The facebook Like box in your screenshot (as well as the newsletter box) are printed by modules. Check the modules in your Joomla Module Manager and find the one that has the HTML tags to load the facebook like BOX, then you can remove it from there too.
