TOPIC: VM Vendor Error

VM Vendor Error 10 years 8 months ago #5917

Hello,
i know that this is not the right place to put this question, but also if you have a little council to give, i'm happy!
I have buy your darkmart template, and upgrade my site to the latest Joomla and VM version.
Everything works fine, but today, if i try to add child variatn to a product i have this error:

You are not an administrator or the correct vendor, storing of product cancelled

And i can't update nothing! What can i do?

Thanks in advance

It isn't to do with our template - this is some core VM thing after the upgrade - I'm sure your not the first - try searching the VM forums etc --

From memory it's something to do with no Shopper marked as vendor or similar

Check your admin for vendor setup etc..

Cheers

Hi,

Looks like it is a Virtuemart permission issue. Somehow the connection between "Joomla Uer Manager" and the "Virtuemart Component" has been broken.

try to search this:
"You are not an administrator or the correct vendor, storing of product cancelled"
on google.com, there are lots of results about it. People have provided some solutions. Try those.

Basically you should open your phpMyAdmin and correct the ID of the "super admin" account back to what it was before.
The Virtuemart Vendor user's ID and joomla super admin account's ID must be the same.

Regards.
