TOPIC: Problems with shopping cart in MAC

Problems with shopping cart in MAC 9 years 5 months ago #11079

The shopping cart module works fine, i think in windows navigator but not in some versions in MAC.

You can see the image that appears when i add an article to cart

The safari version is 5.1.10 and firefox is: 32.0.3.

www.tramax.es

you can see it:

tramax.es/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=134&virtuemart_category_id=67&Itemid=475

i have other client that have coolmart in version v.1.2 and this is v.1.3 and run good in the same navigation in the same computer that fail it.

I read the tutorial and have the same configuration in virtuemart and template. i don´t know where the error is.

Thanks

the problem is;

if you browse website with this URL:
tramax.es/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=134&virtuemart_category_id=67&Itemid=475#cart

the "add to cart" works fine, but if you browse the website with this URL:
www.tramax.es/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=134&virtuemart_category_id=67&Itemid=475#cart

add-to cart doesn't work.

Open this PHP file:
JOOMLA_ROOT/configuration.php

and make sure $live_site line is empty, like this:
public $live_site = '';

By the way, i strongly believe yours is: public $live_site = 'tramax.es';

Don't enter the live site URL there manually. It will cause the non-www or with-www confusions with Safari and Chrome browsers, because JSON can be made only internally (within the same domain). And Safari and Chrome pretend www.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com as separate domains. (it is all about security) Firefox doesn't care about it, on the other hand ;)

Joomla is smart enough to decide what your live site is. So, no need to define live_site manually.

regards.
