On an Iphone/Android screen size (even reducing pc screen shows the same) The text overlay on this module disappears?

I have been puzzling over this one for a few days, i know it works on the demo so it must be something i have done but its not the html in the module as i have tried replacing the original html and get the same result.

I have added a few lines to the module colours css but otherwise not changed anything from the install of this module, can you cast your expert eye over it for me please ?

The bug you have been talking about is the bug of the slideshow module, not our template's. I accept, it is not good to have a buggy module along with our templates, but It is what it is. (this is actually why the 3D slideshow is free, because it doesn't work perfectly)

If you are so skeptical for that bug, then simply don’t use the 3d Slideshow Module that comes with the template, but find an another free alternative. There are tones of free slideshow available for Joomla. Check here: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/slideshow

and find the one that you like the most and works with your website.

Ah ok thats a shame but no major issue - is there a module suffix perhaps that would enable me to hide the module when the resolution is phone size ?

You can hide any element you want by simple CSS3 Media queries rules. It is the most professional way to do it.

(or use google.com to get more info about CSS3 Media Queries, if you have basic info about it, you can do further tweaks to your website)

Basically include this CSS rule to any CSS file (you may include that css rule to this: /templates/flexible_coolmart/css/custom.css)

the above media query rule means; If the screen resolution is lower than 769px, then hide the .flexible_3d_slider element (which is the slideshow module wrapper's class name)


(FYI: this is actually exactly what we have done to hide the slide texts on the slideshow (for small screen). So, the texts would be hidden instead of overflowing the slideshow)

That is perfect, i have actually changed the resolution to 480 which now means that the module shows up on Ipad/tablets where it works fine and doesnt show up on Iphone/smartphones where it doesnt work and to be honest has limited value.
