Hi,

Normally, the drop down shopping cart module is a standalone module and it is sold separately.
But it is integrated and comes-free with CoolMart. While doing this integration, the module is highly customized (visually) by the template CSS files.

This is why the module backend parameters for stylization doesn't work, they have been override. Pretend they are not even exist.

hi,

Using external CSS file is always the best method for style customizations (otherwise there will be some inline CSS declaration on the pages, which will affect the page loading performance negatively). Changing the stylization settings through module parameters are for newbies, and i am sure you are not a newbie at all. So, it is not very challenging to modify the stylization through the CSS, and it is the more advanced method.
