Hi,
Normally you should have 1 menu group. And you should use that menu group both in the TOP menu module and the SIDEBAR menu module.
Therefore, you wouldn't need to create all those different menu items.
(This is what we did on the DEMO:
demo.flexiblewebdesign.com/coolmart/ )
The TOPMENU and the SIDEBAR modules are using the same exact menu group. In our DEMO, click the MAN or any other sub-level item under MAN. You will notice this doesn't happen in our demo.
Why don't you do it on your website as well. Why are you creating separate menu groups for TOP and SIDEBAR menu modules?
If you insist to do that, you need to create "Menu item Alias" for each of them. Not just the last one, the parents would also be allies.
For example:
in TOP menu, you have:
MAN >> Clothes >> Tshirt
in the Sidebar menu group, you have the same structure:
MAN >> Clothes >> Tshirt
Making the Tshirt menu items as "menu item alias" won't be enough, the MAN and the Clothes would also be allies. So actually clicking the Tshirt from the TOP menu, would be the same as you click it from the Sidebar. (which is difference than using the same menu group in different menu modules)
I can't provide you any more support about it. As it is not a bug/error of our template directly. It is related to "How to organize menu groups and use Joomla menu manager efficiently" which is beyond our free support. We are not responsible if the problems/issues are caused by our Template directly.
