Alison, don't worry if your free-support period is ending . We are here to help you in case you need us ;) you will be allowed to create a topic in our forum "forever". Just don't request "Custom Modification", and don't ask us to fix a problem that has been solved with recent releases (They are actually not even covered within free-support period) we just don't specifically investigate customer's website for individual problems when the free-support period is ended. For general cases, we always help our customers without concerning the free-support period. Because general problems are valid for everybody (new&old customers) as well and they can use some help from the topics in the Forum.. So it is a win-win situation.
Steve, the problem you have sounds like a JavaScript conflict in the Joomla Backend. CleanMart has no influence in the Joomla Backend. But some Plugins have. Check the browser console, and see what is going on. You will probably see TypeError RED messages. Try to identify the source of the problem (this might be really challenging to identify the source of the problem though)
- I assume you are using default Joomla Backend Template. If not, then use the default joomla backend template. Don't use any 3rd party template.
- Unpublished recently installed plugins one-by one and test the VM configuration page each time (to figure out what plugin is responsible for this javascript conflict)
- Alternatively you can install jQueryEasy plugin (google it). It is a free Joomla plugin. It is a very handy plugin to resolve jQuery issues (both in fron-end and backend). In the plugin parameters; tell plugin to resolve the conflicts only in the backend (since you don't have any problem in the front-end, you don't need the plugin in the front-end)
For other problems, such as; Not able to open the TOS page, not able to open the Modal Ppopup in the check out etc.. jqueryEasy will be useful for those cases too, only this time enable the plugin in the front-end as well. (FYI: Set jQuery1.11.1 from the plugin parameters, which is the most stable jQuery version)
