Slight panic, client wants to see how the cart works, and it's not. :7
Products won't add to it. When you put in the amount of products, and then click add to cart, you go to cartview, but there's not product. :(

Hi

Any kind of jQuery Conflict problem would cause "not being able to add products to cart" problem. To solve this problem, the jQuery conflict problem must be resolved from the website (Browser console shouldn't throw any RED error message).

Milan, I don't see any problem on your website (no jQuery conflict or what so ever) and adding product to cart works just fine.

Margaretha, i need to see your website. Are you working in a live server? Provide me your website URL. There are millions of different things that could cause a jQuery conflict; i can't help you without seeing your website.

Please HELP!!!! If you (add to cart) only one product, it is ok, but if you choose amount 5-7 or more and click add to cart than click cart view, there is NO PRODUCT....sometimes it add products, sometime not!!! please try several times!!!

I must to hand over the project to the client!!! Help quick please

Hi Milan,

I still don't see any error.

I tried to add products with "multiple quantity" via Category page and via Product Details page.. But i still don't see any problem.

In what product are you getting the problem? If you try to add a product without waiting the page gets fully loaded, then you might end up with that kind of a problem. That's normal (the website must be light-weight and your server must be powerful to load the pages faster). Because "adding product to cart" is handled via AJAX loading (this file is responsible for adding product to cart: new.lienkashop.sk/components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/vmprices.js?vmver=9194). it is a Core Virtuemart file and functionality and has nothing to do with our template.. If you are having serious problem with AJAX loading upon adding product to cart, then you can safely disable the AJAX loading via Virtuemart Backend >> Configuration >> Checkout. it is up to you.. But this thing has nothing to do with our template, please keep this in mind.

FYI: There is a field in the Virtuemart Backend (for each product individually) that says: "Maximum Purchase Quantity", make sure that field is blank.

did you guys get my email? having a bit of a problem with this since my client is getting antsy, could you let me know? many thanks! The cart is still not working. it was working for a while, before i added a plugin for custom fields.

I found the problem is on your website. I wish i thought about about it before.

Apparently you DISABLED the “Show Price” option in the Virtuemart Configuration. Did you do it on purpose? but why?

If you deactivate the prices, Virtuemart would become “Catalog”. And in a “Catalog” website, you can’t add products to cart. That’s totally normal. As soon as i activate the “Show Price” option. Everything starts working just fine. Products are successfully added to cart.
