Just FYI - this is the support ticket submitted to VirtueMart just in case this affects CleanMart in any way:

ISSUE SUMMARY
Setting reviews to autopublish still requires manual publishing of reviews in backend


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Login
Navigate to product and submit a review


RESULT:
The review shows in lower tab of product but does not show star rating at top of product page. The top star rating only shows when manually published in backend

EXPECTED RESULT:
Ratings and reviews to be shown in all areas. Setting autopublish in configuration to also auto-publish reviews in Reviews Section of backend.

Joomla 3.4.1
Virtuemart 3.0.6.4

Hmm. that's an interesting situation. I need to investigate this. It might be a bug of CleanMart, i can't say anything without benchmark tests.

Nevertheless, I wonder why Virtuemart doesn't auto-publish the reviews on VM Backend > Manage Reviews page even though you picked "auto-publish" option.
