I updated my cleamart template on March 22 to the latest version (joomla 3.4.1, vm 3.0.6.2).
When I am doeing a search from a category page within the shop only articles within this category are shown and category search is disabled in the module.
When disabling the cleanmart search override in the templatefolder tghe search is working within the complete shop as it should be. So I guess there is an error in the search override.

With CleanMart v3.2, the mod_virtuemart_search folder has also been updated. The new version doesn't include the "category limit" rule, so the search covers entire Virtuemart.

Make sure to drag-n-drop the new /mod_virtuemart_search/ folder to here: /templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_search/ (overwrite with the existing one)

I uploaded the 3.2 version of mod_search version again but still not working

Try this:

open this PHP file:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/mod_virtuemart_search/default.php

Just before </form>, insert this;
Then, the search will cover the entire Virtuemart store (instead of just the current category).
I suppose this is what you are looking for.
