Hi. My Joomla 2.5 website has only two categories of products. Not sure which one is better among fancy slider and modern slider. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks! Zengfu

They might look the same; but actually there are no similarities between "Fancy Slider" and "Modern Slider" in terms of product listing.

Modern Slider lists the products from specific categories and there is no scroll/sliding/loop effects. There are TABs to open an another set of products from different categories.

But Fancy Slider list the products from a specific group: "Best Selling Products, Featured Product, from Specific Category, Random etc.." but there are no TAB's or buttons to jump to an another category t list a different set of products.

If you have 2 categories only,;

- If you use Modern Slider you will have 2 TABs below the products to open the set of products from categories. (since you have only 2 category, you can't have 3 or more TABs. Each tabs is a category)

- If you Fancy Slider, you can list all the products inside the slider. (or only the Featured products from those categories) and there will be no category selection no where, the products inside the slider can be taken from both category and list side-by side.

Both of the modules might be useful for you, the real important thing is to know "what your intention is".
