Problem Pictures / Thumbs
I hadn't noticed the pictures not showing in the drop down, I see pictures there, though the option in configuration checkout was already ticked. (I have just noticed no thumbs in dropdown when logged out).
Possibly related is the additional images are not showing on product detail pages.

On inspection your template seems to be recalling the old 200 x 200 thumbnails which no loner exist. Emptying site and local caches makes no difference. Thumbs all work fine when I switch off Cleanmart Template.
Problem States for countries
I tried this and no Joy, I have tried a few configurations of switching off Jquery library, but no fix. HOWEVER, when I switch off SEF urls in joomla configuration the dropdown works fine. Incidentally there is no problem with the Title dropdown (Mr. Mrs. Dr. etc).
Problem 502 Bad Gateway:
To replicate I logged in then added a product to the cart, at the Popup option I selected "continue shopping". when I visited another product detail page I got the 502 bad gateway. No 502 problem when I disable Cleanmart (disabled simply by renaming the template folder). HOWEVER, when I switched on Cleanmart again, no more 502 error, until I logged out, then back to only being able to add one item, all product detail pages return 502 thereafter. Without Cleanmart I can log in and out without a problem, no 502 errors.
Stockable Variants
Secondary and minor, is the stockable variants are not showing on category listings, though I realise I must replace this ultimately. I made the VM core adjustments as per instructions, which works for additional images and manufacturer logos, but not for stockable variants.
Thank you kindly for your assistance. I have googled a little about the 502, and thought it might be related to cookies/storeadmin/admin sign in with large headers being sent, or too many cookies being generated ( possibly because I'm signing in and out repeatedly ), but emptying caches doesn't seem to affect it, disabling Cleanmart does.
Thanks again.
Rob.
