Hi,
Obviously it is a SEF URL issue. I can clearly say this has absolutely nothing to do with our template. Because templates (not just ours, but none) can't do it.
These 2 URL's are linked to same exact page:
headgone.net/shop/repairs-custom/clutchserviceappointment
headgone.net/shop/repairs-custom
You can even try to browse a bulk URL, something like this:
headgone.net/shop/repairs-custom/asldhasdlkahsdlTEAsr
or this:
headgone.net/shop/askasdkhaskdhak
the result is the same. (those should have given
404/Page Not Found error
- Are you using any 3rd party SEF URL component (ArtioSEF, Sh404sef etc.. ). If so, purge the CACHE.
- Have you ever touched .htaccess file? If so, get the original .htaccess file that comes with Joomla installation ZIP file.
- Have you ever touched MySQL #__redirection table? -- i don't think you did touch MySQL, but i am just asking anyway. Did you manually touch any row in the #__redirection table? If so, i can't suggest you anything. i hope you have db backups.
- What happens if you disable the SEF URL option through Joomla Global Configuration? Everything gets back to normal?
- Did you research this problem on forum.virtuemart.net and Google?
regards.
