I have an odd issue with pagination.

Page 1 is fine but if you clink an another page its only displays 3 items.

Any Ideas?

When page#2 is clicked, the URL becomes this: nuff.co.nz/dresses/start/39 (which looks little weird to me, it should have been nuff.co.nz/dresses?start=39)

I believe this problem is something to do with the wrongly generated SEF URL. What happens when you temporarily disable the CleanMart? Does the pagination works just fine with official the Virtuemart (without CleanMart)?

To temporarily disable the CleanMart;
1- unpublished this joomla plugin: "Flexible VM3 Template"
2- rename this folder: /templates/hipster/html/com_virtuemart/ to /templates/hipster/html/com_virtuemart2/

Then re-browse this URL nuff.co.nz/dresses and click page#2, see if pagination works fine or not.

When I disable the plugin the issue is still there.

Its odd because if I choose the "sale" menu item which has no submenus it works fine, but if I choose dresses which has sub menus it does not work.

Do you think it is sef issue?

I am 100% sure it is a SEF issue.. For benchmark testing, you may try to disable the SEF ReWriting via Joomla Configuration. I am sure everything will start working just fine.

Are you using some kind of SEF Component? (Sh404sef, ArtioSEF etc?) If so, check the Virtuemart settings of that Component. Or try to contact with the developers of that SEF Component.
