I have purchased CleanMart and LightMart at 9/6/2015 for two different projects.

I started by reading documentation and installing LightMart with the one-by-one method, to the first project. I faced some problems then I opened a topic #12773.
At this moment this ticket is open for 2 days and 2 hours w/o any replies.

Today I thought to proceed investigating my issues with a fresh installation of LightMart this time using the QuickStart method.
Then again, I'm facing issues even with the QuickStart method.

Problem 1
When enabling Joomla's Error Reporting level to maximum I get this error at homepage:
Notice: Undefined variable: checkAutomaticP in C:\xampp\htdocs\triiris.aio\modules\mod_flexible_vm3_cart\mod_flexible_vm3_cart.php on line 75

Although it's a known issue for more that 3 months now Topic #12187 the file I downloaded 4 days ago contains the same typo.
WHY!! Please people respect our time.

Problem 2
Again at the fresh QuickStart LightMart installation.
I can't select shipment method and I can't proceed with check-out with error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in C:\xampp\htdocs\triiris.aio\templates\flexible_lightmart\html\com_virtuemart\cart\select_shipment.php on line 49

Please note that this happens out of the box, I haven't touched any php or other file-type.
a. I have replaced select_shipment.php by the one provided at topic #11548
b. I have replaced select_shipment.php by the one I downloaded with CleanMart template 4 days ago.
None of the above workarounds provided a solution, I always get the same syntax error, only the line number is changing.

As you might already pointed I'm working locally on XAMP. It can't be an ISP issue, might be a XAMP issue?

As a conclusion I have spent some $$$ and a week of work trying to find how to use this product, and even worse, I'm unable to deliver any product to my client.

Would you please help me to somehow start?

open this PHP file:
modules\mod_flexible_vm3_cart\mod_flexible_vm3_cart.php on line 75

and to the top, enter this (or whatever variable is creating that "Undefined Variable" error message):
$checkAutomaticP = '';

the error will be gone, because you just defined that variable. Looks like we have forgot to patch this error, simply because there are other big things we are spending our time. Even juniors who started using PHP just yesterday, can debug and fix this problem.

Problem 2: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in is very uncommon, it is simply impossible to have this error. Because parse error is a critical error. I checked the flexible_lightmart\html\com_virtuemart\cart\select_shipment.php file and i don't see any parse error nowhere. It should be related to your server you are using.
