Hello!
Yestraday I bought this template. I uploaded the quickstart package on the server, but after loading kickstart.php, om the step 5. Extracting I got error
AN ERROR OCCURED
The archive file is corrupt, truncated or archive parts are missing

I tried several times to upload the package, but I am still getting this error.
Any suggestion?

Hello, i had the same issue. Try to unzip the QuickStart-AkeebaBackup archive manually and then place all the files to your site's root folder. This worked for me.

Thanks for your help! I tried to do that, but I got many errors while extracting this file. I redownloaded the file from the site, in case that mine was broken, but still the same.

You got the errors while using the AkeebaBackup tool right? What i did after trying all the option was to find the QuickStart-AkeebaBackup.zip in my local drive and unzip it. Then copy all the files extracted to the root file of my webserver. Do you get errors while unzipping in your computer? Mine works just fine this way.

I see. Just checked mine and i do get errors also but the files get extracted in the end and work fine. I cannot help any further, i am a customer like you. You should wait for an official support reply.

Hi Koast,

That's interesting because i just test and didn't notice any UNZIPing failure. The ZIP file (and the QuickStart ZIP file) are properly unzipped on my computer.

I am a Mac OS X user, the ZIP files were generated by using Archive Utility which is the default archive file handler in Mac OS X (not a 3rd party software)

Anyway, here is what i did;

- I unzipped every SportMart files on my localhost,
- Re-zipped them
- Uploaded to our server again
- Sent you the download link to your email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Please re-download the SportMart from our server, the file is little large, make sure the download is completed. Don't use 3rd party Download Manager, use the browser's built-in download managers. After the download is completed, check the file size, it should be: 37,353,035 bytes (37.4 MB on disk)

It should work this time. To UNZIP the file, don't use any 3rd party ZIP software. Both Windows and Mac OS X has built-in archive file handler to decompress ZIP files, use them.

If the problem persist, let me know.
