No, your loading time is bad. You should find a way to improve it. You can't launch the website with this state (unless you don't care about website speed)



You should drop the "Server response time" somewhere between 0.75-1.5 seconds. Currently it is 4.5 seconds.
Server response time is the time passes until your server process the PHP and render the page (doesn't include any loading time for static contents - CSS, JS or graphics)

I would recommend you to enable the "Joomla Cache" (but i assume you have already done that)
If the "cache" is already enabled, then there is no other way but to find a stronger hosting. If you are using a Shared Hosting package, you are out of luck, this slowness is normal. You need at least VPS with at least 1gb dedicated RAM to run SportMart smoothly.

SportMart is not a simple template. It has very complex queries. Thus, requires strong server.

Our server is VPS with 4gb dedicated RAM. And the server response time (with cache enabled) is around 0.8-1 seconds.

These are the top 2s. But of course there are other hosting companies. Use google.com to find the most appropriate hosting for yourself (high performance, low price).

after your suggestion I moved my website to a VPS hosting 2Gb RAM 20Gb Hard Disk, it seems to be more responsive... But I am not able to perform the test that you did last time.

Is now good in your opinion?

Hi,

I am seeing a performance boost. I did couple refreshes, and the server response time is range of 1.2 - 1.7 seconds. It is not the "best", but it is okay.

Enable Joomla "cache" ( if you haven't done yet) and set 15-20 mins for cache expiration.

To increase the general page loading; use this plugin: JCH Optimize (to compress/combine the CSS and JS files)

NOTICE: JCH Optimize plugin is very useful and gives a lot of performance boost, but it is tend to create jQuery conflict problems. Use it very cautiously.

If you end up with jQuery conflict, then use the JCH plugin only for compressing CSS file.
