Thanks for point this out. You are right, resetting password "looks like" doesn't work. But actually it does. You just don't see what is going on behind the scene, because the system-messages are hidden. Apparently, we accidentally hide the "system-messages".
1-Open this CSS file:
/templates/flexible_lightmart/css/virtuemart.css
2-Scroll to the bottom and include these CSS rules:
#system-message {display:block;margin: 0 0 5px;}
#system-message > div {color: #111111;font-size: 14px;font-weight: 400;line-height: 1.2;margin: 0;padding: 10px 20px 0;text-align: left;border:1px solid #333;}
#system-message h4.alert-heading { display:inline-block; margin:0;}
#system-message > div {position:relative; padding:10px 20px;}
#system-message > div p {padding:0; margin:10px 0 0 0;}
#system-message > div .close { position:absolute; top:0px;right:0; padding:5px; background:#333; color:#fff;}
3- That's it. Then, You will see what is going on behind the scene when you try to reset the password.
