Is it harmful to upgrade joomla lightmart

Joomla! 2.5.17 to higher version or to joomle version 3.x.x ??
And virtuemart 2.0.26a to 2.6.6 ??

Hi,

A new version of LightMart has been released for VM3.x + J3.x but i suppose you are still using the old version.

J2.5.x + VM2.x and J3.x +VM3.x are completely different systems, therefore we needed to re-develop LightMart.

NEVER UPGRADE YOUR VM2.x to VM3.x or J2.x to 3.x (unless you get the latest LightMart)

But you can safely update your
- J2.5.x to latest J2.5.x
- VM2.6.x to latest VM2.6.x

Do this upgrade on your localhost first to make sure everything works normal (don't do it right away on the production site)
