Hello. I have about 5000 VM categories and assymetric template. But now i have performance problem. Page loading speed ~14s. How i can resolve performance problem? I tried some performance plugin, but it's not effective. I tried change template to default beez_20 - page loading speed - about 3s.

Comparing our template with beez_20 is non-sense.

Because beez_20 is a blank template. Indeed, the loading speed with bees should be around 750ms - 1.5seconds. Even 3 seconds is too long.

Uninstall all the performance plugin you have installed. And install this plugin:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/performance/site-performance/12088

(it is a free plugin). And make sure you have enabled the JS and CSS compression.

Then, through Joomla Global Configuration enable the CACHE (conservative)

If the loading time won't drop to 4-5 seconds. Then start temporarily "unpublished" the 3rd paty plugin/component/module one-by one (that you have installed later on and doesn't come with Asymmetric by default)

One of your module/plugin/component you installed might also cause this performance issue.

If still no luck, then you should upgrade your hosting. If you are using "Shared Hosting" then you don't need to waste your time for benchmarking. It is normal. Because shared hostings cost $1/month and they are for HTML websites (or for joomla with plain beez_20 template)

Our DEMO server uses VPS hosting, and loading time is 3.5 seconds.


After 1-refresh the loading time drops to 1 - 2 seconds, because PHP Queries and everything are served from CACHE.
